About Andreu
Andreu Lacondeguy nicknamed Little Mexican is one of the top representatives of freeriders who is passionately in love with slopestyle discipline. A wild-man who always takes risk while stretching himself to the limit of freeride mountain biking. He started riding BMX bikes when he was 10 years old, and swiched to downhill as the years passed. He will fall in two attempts but get it perfect in the last one, he says.
His style, passion to party, standing in front, and being uniquely talented “crazy-dude” freerider made him firm favourite athlete with many mountain bike fans around the world. The world was stunned by Duble Backflip being performed by Andreu in 26TRIX Contest in Leogang as the third person ever landed, but that wasn’t enough for him… he wanted more and started training for Tripple Backflip for the next event. He never practice and he don’t trust training, Andreu just want’s to have as much fun as he can while riding his bike.
Andreu first appeared in contest in 2006. Like his brother Lluis he won a wildcard for the Red Bull District Ride and it was the event when people recognized him internationally. The real contest season for him started in Madrid, when he took part in the Nissan Qashqai Challenge. He showed some good tricks and walked away with the first place.
